CPS test

Click as fast as you can. The clock starts on your first click, so nothing is wasted waiting. Jitter and butterfly both count: this measures clicks, not technique.

What is a good CPS score?

Normal clicking sits around 5 to 7 clicks per second. Past that people switch technique: jitter clicking tenses the arm to shake the finger and reaches roughly 10 to 14, while butterfly clicking alternates two fingers on one button and can pass 15. Anything holding above 25 for a full ten seconds is almost always software.

How is the CPS test scored?

Every click timestamp is recorded and the score is recomputed on the server from that log. The clock starts on your first click rather than on page load, so no time is lost to reaction.

Does this test detect autoclickers?

Runs whose clicks land too evenly spaced are rejected, because a hand always scatters its timing and a macro does not. Impossibly high rates are rejected outright.

Does jitter or butterfly clicking count?

Both count. The test measures clicks, not technique, so any way you produce them with your own hand is fair.
